Responsible River Modelling Center

The Responsible River Modelling Center (RRMC) contributes to the synergy between the sustainable use of rivers and their protection. The center’s expertise are hydraulic modelling and the building of waterways. Maintaining and recreating functional riverscapes is at the forefront of RRMC’s activities. Benefiting from a range of state-of-the-art instruments, the RRMC is also a welcome partner in many international research projects such as DREAM (Danube River Research and Management).
At EQ, the RRMC uses the following instruments:

3D-LDA (Laser Doppler Anemometry) System
Low-speed PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry) System
High-speed PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry) System l
Acoustic SLD (Side Looking Doppler) System
Optical Turbidity Measurement System
